The West Central Research & Outreach Center is looking for an experienced individual to oversee the horticulture program at the WCROC.
Job Duties include:
- participating with supervisors in the strategic planning of the program
- initiating and collaborating on research projects
- leading day-to-day operations
- managing budgets and overseeing staff.
Required Qualifications:
- MS/MA in horticulture or a related field
- at least one year’s experience in the field
- an understanding of common horticulture practices and equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD in Horticulture
- experience with leadership in program management
- experience in grant development
- effective communication skills
- experience in training and supervision
